Keeping Fix Supplies Within Reach During Filming

Keep the same basic repair kit used for conventions (safety pins, fabric tape, spare adhesive) within arm's reach of any filming setup, not packed away in another room — the time it takes to retrieve supplies mid-shoot is often more disruptive than the malfunction itself.

Deciding What to Edit Around vs Address Live

For pre-recorded content, minor wardrobe issues are often easier to simply cut around in editing than to fix perfectly during filming — know your own editing workflow well enough to recognize when it's faster to keep filming and fix it in post rather than stopping the shoot entirely.

Staying Composed During Live Content

For genuinely live content where editing isn't an option, a calm, unbothered acknowledgment (rather than visible panic) generally reads better to an audience than trying to hide that something happened — most audiences respond well to a creator who handles a hiccup smoothly rather than one who pretends nothing occurred.
